About us

ESPALO - “the light before sunrise or dawn” in Hazaragi.

Espalo is a non-profit organisation committed to providing educational support to children of migrant, refugee and displaced backgrounds in Asia. We dedicated to support children who are excluded from accessing education on the basis of ethnicity, gender, poverty, disability, language as well as those displaced.

The organization was established in 2019, with half of the executive members being former refugees and migrants. We, at Espalo, personally understand the barriers and challenges of children face when accessing education. Now that we all have the opportunity to live in a safe place, we are helping other children have access to education.
