Co-Founder of Espalo, Filmmaker and Refugee advocate. He embraced film-making to document his life when he was a refugee in Indonesia. There he co-founded a school for refugee children. Today the school serves around 200 refugee children, 18 refugee volunteer teachers and inspired 7 other refugee lead schools. Khadim Currently doing his BFA at California Institute of the Arts.

An educational entrepreneur who developed numerous international partnerships and innovative programs during his 30 years at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). David is also the founder of the California International Education Foundation — sponsor of Espalo.
Jamila Ahmadi
Jamila brings to Espalo a combination of experience across NGOs, advocacy, policy and the education sector. Jamila currently works in the field of humanitarian and migrant settlement services. She hold a Masters of International Relations from the Australian National University.

The Children and specially girls/women who can not afford their educational expenses Arzoo Ariz is helping them to get to school and she is glad to be the voice of the children who couldn't speak for themselves.
