Guidance and support from a local Coordinator who works with the family and understands the specific needs of a child.

Ongoing access to extracurricular activities and mentoring programs to help students build the skills they need to thrive at school and beyond.

How we Work.

Espalo partners with schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan. In Pakistan, we partner with Pamir High school and Al-Berooni High school. We also support fourteen students in Pakistan with their education expenses monthly. 

In 2019, Espalo successfully secured two scholarships for two girls from Afghanistan. Begum graduated in 2020 and got full-scholarship at Warren Wilson College in North Carolina. Hakima is on her way to graduate next year.

Our aim is to continue to build more academic partnerships with schools and colleges in the US and abroad to support even more students with higher education, especially girls.

We hope that our students in the US bring their educational experiences and learnings back to their home country.
